Review/Comments/Thoughts:
This will most likely be the only band I have up here on my site where every single album will be a 10, This is one of my top 3 groups of all time. I personally have not met a bigger fan of Deliverance than myself. I am sure there are some out there but if there is a bigger fan than I it would most likely be someone who is a relative or connected to the band in some way. I bought this album on tape back in 1991 I have this on CD now the only "D" Gem i had a problem finding for a decent price. I got the tape at one of their shows. I'll go into more on that with my thoughts on Weapons. Their version of Jehovah Jireh ROCKS! I cannot ever say this enough it blew me away when I First heard it. Favorites include No Time, Deliverance, The Call, No Love, Jehova Jireh, Blood of the Covenant, Awake, Temporary Insanity

Review/Comments/Thoughts:
This album was my first exposure to Deliverance. I was in a what is now called a FYE and at that time they had a semi decent selection of Christian Metal. At this time I was just discovering bands like Sacrament and Vengence, So I was browsing and i saw a group I reconized not sure who it was exactly but I also saw Weapons both me and my cousin were checking this album out and I ask him which one I should get cuz I could not make my mind up and had money for just one. He suggested Weapons because we never heard of Deliverance before so I was like Ok. We put it in the car and I was instantly hooked. Two weeks later my cousin asks me if I wanted to see them live and like a dumb ole dog Im like UH HUH *laughs* The opening band was called Sepheas, another Christian Metal band local to the Massachusetts area (at the time) this was 1991. I remember enjoying myself but at the same time I got sick like I felt a flu bug just hit me so it wiped me out but I still enjoyed the show. I got the S/T on tape and a Weapons T-Shirt which I Still have. Now a rarity I'm told. I went home thinkin yeah I got a new favorite band. This album is big among the Christian Metallers they would tell you that their first 3 albums were their best. I tell you ALL their albums are the best. This is a classic Deliverance album. Favorites include Weapons of our Warfare, 23, Supplication, Slay the Wicked, If We Faint Not

Review/Comments/Thoughts:
I think if you were to ask Jimmy Brown about this album he would probobly tell you this album fits the title perfectly. The label had wanted a "Weapons Pt 2" And one thing about Jimmy is he likes to expand his sound. This album has a bunch of short clips but some killer tracks Roger Martinez, of Vengence Rising fame did Vox on It's The Beat combine with a killer Black Sabbath cover After Forever Being the Hardcore Deliverance Junkie, I gotta say this album SHREDS it also gives a glimpse into Jimmy's sense of humor. Favorites include Pseudo Intellectual, Cheeseburger Maker Do, What a Joke, After Forever, It's The Beat, Silent Night, Chipped Beef, Purgatory Sandwhich w/ Mustard

Review/Comments/Thoughts:
This album marks the first turning point in the History of Deliverance going from their Speed Metal sound to a more progressive metal sound. I think alot of the Hardcore Metaller fans felt jipped, to me this album is just as good as any other in the Deliverance catalog, This album lists Eric Clayton of Saviour Machine as contributing background vox along with Producer and Daniel Amosfame, Terry Taylor. This album also was without guitarist George Ochoa, in an older interview of Heaven's Metal Jimmy was quoted in saying that it was creative departure. George would go on and form Recon In this album Jimmy covers Daniel Amos Band's Horrendus Disc Favorites include Stay of Execution, Words to The..., From Once Was, Horrendus Disc, Ramming Speed

Review/Comments/Thoughts:
The First D album with Bassist Manny Morales, Terry Taylor producing his 3rd Deliverance album, This album is a special album to me. On this album you dont get the "Fluffy" lyrics of your typical Christian bands. Jimmy wrote from life experiances and it was with this album that Deliverance went from one of my favorite bands to being one of the only bands that "did it" for me. Jimmy covers Daniel Amos' Santuary which is one of my favorites on this album. Favorites include Time, 1990, Learn, In The Will, Desperate Cries, Santuary

Review/Comments/Thoughts:
The 5th offering by the Awesome "D" would be a Live album of sorts, It was the first release in a 5 disc series by Intense Records, other artists included Tourniquet, Mortal, Die Happy, Randy Rose On this you can hear studio outtakes which sounded like Jimmy and crew had fun with it. Which is probobly the draw for of this band. Jimmy did a very excellant cover of the Stryper classic Surrender One of my all time favorite Covers, One of my favorite bands covering my other favorite band. Tracks included songs from their first 4 albums

River Disturbance is the First D album not on the Intense Label. Some people have described this album as "Moody" I describe it as a "Masterpiece", At First I was not sure what to make of it, Having been a long time fan I knew that this album would need to grow on me a bit, Now Its one of the most played "D" Albums I own. Favorites include After I Fell, Now & Then, Map, A Little Sleep, You Still Smile

This Album is Great but It was Butchered. Originally to be a concept album, the Original version had alot more than the final release. This would be the last Deliverance Studio Album for the next 5 to 6 years. Jimmy showing his homage to Legend David Bowie covers Beauty & the Beast Favorites include Beauty & The Beast, Lindsey, Anymore, Book Ends, Somber Theme (Where Are you)
