Not a very strong debut in my opinion, I had gotten this mainly as a filler, there are a few good songs on this effort. Stupid Girl, Only Happy When It Rains I have given a few spins, It was not easy for me as most of the stuff did nothing for me. It was not this album that made me a fan let's just say that

If I had to rank top albums of the 90s, This album would definitly be among them. Anybody wanting to get into this band I always suggest they start with this album. Version 2.0 is 12 songs of creative 90s' genuis. Not a single filler song in this effort. Every song is strong and maybe even a potential single. Funny thing is this album produced 6 singles but Don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself. I was working at FYE when this album came out, and the song Special was playing I think it was this song that drew me to the album, plus Medication appeared on The Faculty Soundtrack. I had bought this album and it was instant for me I was hooked. I had to buy this album twice as my original copy vanished. It took some doing to find another copy I remember I had to look in like 3 to 4 different places. I loved every song on this album.

If this band were to have a follow up to Version 2.0 It should have been this album, In my opinion this is as closest to Part 2 that we'll get, I feel this album has their trademark dark sound. No Fillers on this album at all, Not to mention Dave Grohl of Nirvana & Foo Fighters fame did drums on the opening track Bad Boyfriend Which I thought was sweet since I am a big fan of Dave Grohl and his musical ventures. I hope their next release whenever that is, is on the same caliber as this album and their second album
