Review/Comments/Thoughts:
I got a buddy who is big time into them and we had made a deal since I didn't care at first for this band the deal was I get this album and give it a few spins and he'd get a Greatest Hits by Megadeth, Turns out I really liked some of the songs on here, enough to want to buy a few of the albums, Songs that stood out to me were The Trooper, Wasted Years, Run To The Hills, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Phantom of the Opera I intend to buy some more stuff by this band, Oh yeah they have a new album coming out (at the time of this writing) called Final Frontier and the one free download song was enough to convince me to get that album too. Its possible that I might find more gems by this band but I have to admit I do like them

I am not exactly sure what to really say about this album, While I admit I am relatively new to the catalog of Iron Maiden, and this is really the first Iron Maiden album I've owned. I am not exactly sure what to really say about it. Don't get me wrong I do like this album. It does seem very progressive, with alot of emphasis on long tracks. The album opens with Satalite 15... The Final Frontier, it's a great song but in my opinion you could cut this track and make it 2 seperate tracks. All in all I feel the album is very "wordy" or the music equivilant to being "Wordy" That's just me though. The band had given the fans "El Dorado" as a free download, and hearing this song is the reason why I went out and bought this album. All in all I feel the first 4 songs on the album are the strongest, Though my favorites so far are Satalite 15...The Final Frontier, El Dorado, Mother of Mercy Coming Home, Starblind, and When the Wild Wind Blow
