Shortly after getting Fantasies I started searching for other albums and came across this one, This one is nothing like Fantasies but it is a good album in it's own right. It's more Synth than their latest Favorites include Grow Up & Blow Away, Hardwire, Rock Me Now, Soft Rock Star

Wikipedia classifies this as New Wave, Indie Rock. My awesome wife had turned me on to this band as one of their songs was on the movie Zombieland I listened to Help I'm Alive I instantly liked the song. The next day while shopping for a gift for my wife, I found this album at Barnes & Noble and had to snag it. I put in the CD player and almost 12 hours later I am still spinning the album. I rarely will listen to an album like this I didn't even do that when I got Anomaly by Ace Frehley Let me say that I absolutely LOVE this album, from start to finish I love this album, Had I gotten this in 2009 It would have been either # 2 of my album of the year or It would have had my 2009 album of the year which that honor went to Ace Frehley. As I had stated I love this album. My only problem with the album is that there was not more than 10 tracks on it. Im not going to list favorites because I enjoy the entire CD from start to finish. I will say that the vocals on some of the songs are very reminiscant of Juliana Hetfield. Which to me is not a stab or anything as I think Juliana Hetfield's vocal style is great. As much as I love the album the first two tracks are pretty strong Help I'm Alive, and Sick Muse Some tracks are very reminiscant of She Wants Revenge I was expecting the album to be like that first song Help Im Alive however I was pleasently surprised and blown away by this CD. I learned they have 3 other albums and a DVD out. I am going to have to expand my collection of Metric. I foresee Metric being one of my all time favorite bands.
