A very good soundtrack. In 1997 when the Special Edition movies were released they also re-released the soundtracks. I had only gotten this one but the other two are on my want list. Or at least used to be regardless i still want them. If you want an audio experience that will take you into the movie then this is your soundtrack. Its the audio way of listening to Star Wars in my opinion

When news of the backstory came out I was very excited that it was happening, I made the mistake of looking at the soundtrack before seeing the movie as that was how I learned Qui Gon Jinn would die in the movie. I was pretty upset. Sooo I made it a point that when it came to book releases and or soundtracks I wouldnt touch a single one till I saw the movie. The only exception I made was for Episode 3 in which I bought the book version and read it twice within 3 days. Duel of the Fates is a great track and I cant help but visualize the battle with Darth Maul near the end. That was an awesome scene.

I believe this is my favorite of the Prequel Trilogy, its the story I had been waiting for since 1983. I loved the soundtrack but I remember that there was a track not in there that was in the movie and that bummed me out cuz that was the reason why I got it. Ill need to spin it again but because its Star Wars automatic 9 / 10
