Intro: What do you get when you put the frontmen of the Foo Fighters together with a member of Led Zepplin. Them Crooked Vultures is the result. A supergroup of guys having fun playing music. Josh Homme from QOTSA and Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters who have both worked together in the past, and now add John Paul Jones to the mix. This album is different than the bodies of work these guys are known for.

Review/Comments/Thoughts:
A few things, 1) I am a BIG fan of Dave Grohl 2) This CD came recommended to me ok now that I got that out of the way, I gotta say this is a shreddin album, I like the vox of Josh Homme, but after listening to the album I had 3 instant favorites No Eraser, No Chaser I liked this song because its the only song on this album where I can hear Grohl singing background vocals, He's got some killer harmonies, The next song is Caligulove It just plain rocks I cant explain why I like this song but it had sort of a dark vibe sound if that makes sense. The third favorite was Gunman I loved the sound of it, It also had a dark gothic type sound. When I play this album these are the three songs i make sure i get my fixes of. As of this posting there's talk of a second album, It'll be interesting to see these guys' follow up. Eventually Queens of the Stoned Age and my beloved Foo Fighters will get their frontmen back
